Ericksonian Hypnosis is a natural form of hypnosis invented by Milton H Erickson an American Psychotherapist, it helps to free and facilitate human development. The indirect method allows hypnosis to take place without any formal mention of hypnosis or trance.
Stephen Brooks introduced Ericksonian Hypnosis to the UK some 30 years ago. He remains the UK’s leading authority on Erickson’s work. Examples of Stephen Brook’s work were preserved in the British National Sound Archives. Brooks teaches world wide and is responsible for teaching Ericksonian Hypnosis courses in over 20 UK hospitals.
The British Hypnosis Research was set up by Stephen Brooks, to help facilitate on going studies.
